Ann O’Neill, DNP, MBA, RN, CEN, NE-BC

CANDIDATE FOR TREASURER

Ann O’Neill has been a registered nurse for more than 27 years. She has held progressive leadership positions including Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing. Dr. O’Neill is currently is the Vice President of Patient Care Services at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. In this role, Dr. O’Neill oversees Patient Care Services and Emergency nursing. In addition, Dr. O’Neill is an Adjunct Professor at the Philips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai.

Dr. O’Neill received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing. She holds a MBA from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Wagner College, in addition to her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from State University of New York Downstate Health Science Center. She holds a certificate from Cornell University’s Cornell-HANYS Healthcare Academy for Healthcare Leadership.

Dr. O’Neill is a board certified nurse executive and emergency nurse. She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the New York Organization for Nursing Leadership, the American Nurses Association where she is a new member of the Policy and Advocacy Group, the Emergency Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing.
