The annual silent auction has been a popular part of the NYONEL annual meeting. Regions each donate a prize and individual NYONEL members are invited to donate prizes as well.
This year’s auction will take on a different look. We will be conducting a “Pick-A-Prize” raffle. We will sell raffle tickets in different amounts for different prices – the more you buy, the lower the per-ticket price. People then place tickets in containers next to the item or items they want to win. At the end of the raffle, one winner is picked for each item.
Members are encouraged to donate raffle items. Value should be upwards of $25. It could be anything from a gift card, to jewelry, a book, a collectible, or an ever-popular purse. Think of something you would like to win! All donations are tax deductible for 90% of their value.
